Cream - This is the lightest of coat color, not quite an apricot but also not Snow White. Typically they will be much lighter as a puppy but often golden out as an adult. This color is considered under our apricot/red coats.
Apricot - this coat color can be a more golden color or sometimes also just a muted red.
Red - this coat color is often a really dark rusty color
tip* not always but most common…your puppies ear color typically becomes their adult coat color

Tuxedo is a very specific coat pattern. You will see heavily white patching among their chests, paws and/or face. This can be found on any solid color coat, black, merle or apricot and reds.

This is a one of the most unique coats as no two are alike. They can come in various shades as well. Chocolate and Blue are the most popular. Blue really just means black and gray. It will appear almost like a marble look. They can have large patches of chocolate (brown) or black. They also can have white patches (abstract) or heavily with a tuxedo coat.

Parti is a two colored coat. The base color is white, which the body will be over 50% white with patchings of another color. This can be apricot, red, black or Merle patchings.

Currently I only breed solid black and black with white. However in the past, I have raised phantoms and brindles, pictured above.

This one is the most confusing for some. All it simply is a solid color with minimal spotting of white. For example, a white paw or small white marking on the chest. This also can be in any color base. Here at TFD, we just consider these “solids” for our pricing.
